Dr. Numa Cbb Jr

Dr. Cobb, Jr. is a member of the Cobb Orthodontics team. He founded Cobb Orthodontics in Greensboro in 1966. Currently, he is semi-retired and focuses his many years of orthodontic experience on temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) and correcting malocclusions he feels are related to TMD.

Dr. Cobb, Jr. has remained vigilant in maintaining his level of knowledge in the ever-changing field of orthodontic technology. He continues to maintain his membership in many dental organizations and has served in many leadership and director positions. He believes dedication and involvement in organized dentistry is essential to ensure the level of education, research, and development necessary within the specialty of orthodontics.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and completed his orthodontic training there as well. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists at all levels of membership, and has served in the House of Delegates for 23 years, representing the Southern Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Cobb, Jr. is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He belongs to the American Dental Association at all levels of membership, and has represented their organization in many capacities throughout his many years of service. He believes an orthodontist must be a team player with all dental colleagues to provide the quality care our patients expect and deserve.
